Presentation

Three training programmes are available, all of them espousing a twin qualification dynamic:

  • Manager twin qualification
  • Applied corporate management
  • Manager engineer

The Twin qualification manager and Manager engineer programs are general courses that differ in the language in which the courses are given. The final programme offers a twin qualification based on the international aspects of management. It is therefore also given in the English language.

The objective of the Corporate management and administration master's, the IAE's flagship degree, is to provide training in managerialcompetencies to students and/or executives already recognised for their specialist scientific, technical or legal skills etc. gained through initial 3rd year undergraduate or 1st year master's education or in the fields of : law, economics, management 2nd year master's. The Twin qualification manager program is part and parcel of this objective and is intended to train directors or executives whosecareers destine them for senior positions, concentrating somewhat on the French context. The Manager engineer program provides a different take on the previous program but, this time, in an English-speaking context, which is intended to train directors or executives whose careers destine them for seniorpositions in an international environment. Finally, open to the issues of theinternational firm, the International Manager programme prepares students formanagement functions in international groups or the international departmentsof firms, providing training that incorporates the international dimension ofmanaging organisations. Irrespective of the programme, graduates of the Corporate management and administration master's are well equipped for a broad range of positions and business sectorsmatching their original training and are widely represented among generalmanagement and marketing functions.

Applied corporate management 2nd year

The Master in Applied Corporate Management is a graduate program in business dedicated to students keen to discover and understand the theories, practices and tools useful for leading organizations and making managerial decisions.

Because a varied background is a true asset when implementing management and leadership skills, notably in the context of a fast changing environment, the Master in Applied Corporate Management is intended for students with educational background other than management or business.

The Master in Applied Corporate Management is a 12-month program focused on all areas in the management of organizations. The curriculum emphasizes on both understanding business fundamentals and developing managerial skills.

The program targets explicitly students from non-business areas (engineering, art, law, philosophy, history, technology and computer sciences, etc.) who want to develop management expertise, either because they plan to work as a manager or because they know they will need managerial competencies in their professional life.

If you want to know:

  • what is the language of business
  • how businesses are organized
  • how corporations develop and implement their strategies
  • how they deal with risk
  • how they make investments and finance their growth
  • how they respond to market needs
  • how they attract and retain customers
  • how they align human resources policy with business strategy

Then, the Master in Applied Corporate Management is for you.

The Master in Applied Corporate Management is offered as a one-year full-time program.
