Course outline:

Chemistry being an experimental science, practice in the laboratory is a fundamental teaching in the chemistry curriculum.
The first two days will consist of re-examining every basic purification techniques used in the organic lab (distillation, extraction, recrystallization, chromatography). The remaining of the lab period will consist in carrying out of a multistep organic synthesis.
