Prerequisites: “Bioorganic and bioinorganic chemistry” (M1 Master Program CHI832).
Course outline: This course presents the principles used to understand and mimic the metal binding sites naturally found in biological systems, as well as to anticipate the interactions of toxic metals and metal-based drugs in living organisms.
Format of the course: 40h. Courses (3/4), Seminar (1), Tutorials (2).
Format of exams: Ongoing assessment and Final written exam (at the end of December) 
Expected skills: 
- to provide strong knowledge in bio-inorganic chemistry through different selective aspects.
- to describe scientific projects developed in Grenoble. One pillar (three domains): Green catalysis (Environment), Small molecule activation (Energy), Imaging (Health).
- to give you methodological tools to summarize oral scientific presentations.
