Organization of the academic year
The academic year is organized as follows:
- the first semester runs from September to December/January and corresponds to the odd-numbered semesters in the field “period”,
- the second semester runs from January to May/June and corresponds to even-numbered semesters.

Cross-departmental courses (Enseignements transversaux à choix - ETC)
These courses worth 3 credits (ECTS).
You can choose among the following:
- French courses offered to exchange students
- Language courses (except French) that you can find in the search engine
- Sport courses in Grenoble (in French) and sport courses in Valence (in French)
- Other courses (in French).
