Description
This course aims to define the different ageing mechanisms of polymers, stabilization strategies to improve their lifetime and finally address the problem of their recycling.
Skills: elucidate the chemical and physical ageing mechanism of a polymer in order to be able to predict potential long-term serviceability of polymer material systems under expected conditions of use.

Prerequisites: Polymers 1 & 2 (M1 Master Program)
