Description
Course outline
In this course we will review the organization of the CNS and the functions related to the different parts of the brain. We will describe pathologies that affect specifically these parts of the CNS and the consequence of such diseases. Furthermore, we will describe the basis of psychopharmacology by analysis the therapeutic basis of the most common compounds used to cure psychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases.
During the tutorials, students will present a scientific article related to the topics presented during the lectures.
