University degree of French studies C1 (DUEF)

Presentation and goals

DUEF C1 courses are intended for foreign C1 level students wishing to improve their linguistic and cultural knowledge.

Students enrolled in the DUEF obtain a university degree in French studies if they pass as well as the transcript of the exam.

A certificate indicating the marks obtained as well as the level acquired from the CERCL is given to each student at the end of the semester.

The objectives are as follows:

  • Improve spoken and written language through in-depth linguistic reflection and exercises in university methodology
  • Deepen their specific knowledge in cultural fields such as: literature, civilization, history, arts, politics and economy etc

  • Tutorials (TD), lectures (CM), language lab
  • Cultural activities outside the walls (museum visit, etc.)
  • Partnerships and projects with local actors to promote anchoring in the Grenoble environment

Modalities

  • Two sessions per year are offered : from september to december and / or from january to may

Students who have obtained the DUEF B2 can apply, without taking the DELF or DALF, for university courses offered by the UGA and the French universities that are members of ADCUEFE.
