The aim of this class is to allow foreign students to understand current French society thanks to different introductions: historic, geographical, sociological, cultural, etc. The class will also rely on the context of the Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes region and, specifically, that of Isère, to be closer to the day-to-day experience of students.
Some examples of themes dealt with:
- The symbols, values and stereotypes of France,
- The festive and cultural event calendar marking the calendar year,
- Family: its make-up, its development,
- The working and stakeholders of the justice system,
- Gastronomy: customs and trends,
- The place of women in society,
- Education in France,
- The chanson française, a reflection of society,
