Le parcours Design urbain est cohabilité avec l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Grenoble et fait partie des diplômes reconnus pour l’obtention de la qualification aux métiers de l’urbanisme délivrée par l’Office Professionnel de Qualification des Urbanistes (OPQU).

L'enseignement de l'atelier de projet est central dans ce parcours. Il occupe au moins deux journées par semaine en Master 2 et 6 semaines intensives viennent ponctuer le premier semestre du Master 2. Au second semestre, les étudiants du Master 2 effectuent un stage de 4 à 6 mois en bureau d'étude ou en laboratoire de recherche, en France ou à l'étranger.

Le parcours Design urbain est parfaitement adapté aux étudiants souhaitant poursuivre une mention « recherche » (souhaitant s'engager en thèse par la suite) comme à ceux intéressés par une mention « professionnelle ».

Le master 2 est également ouvert aux étudiants en formation continue.

Access condition

The selection is done by a commission on the base of candidates’ CV and an interview that has the objective to check whether they have acquired the language and/or urban planning skills required for direct admission to the master.

Public continuing education : You are in charge of continuing education :
• if you resume your studies after 2 years of interruption of studies
• or if you followed training under the continuous training regime one of the previous 2 years
• or if you are an employee, job seeker, self-employed

If you do not have the diploma required to integrate the training, you can undertake a validation of personal and professional achievements (VAPP)
