This course consists of two parts:

  • Modelling and control of power electronic structures: Dynamic modeling of power electronic structures (time simulation model, average model).
  • Control of electric power devices and systems: Models and methods for controling electric devices and systems (wind generators, HVDC links, reactive power compensators for electric networks, photovoltaic power plants ...).


Recommended prerequisite

Modelling of electrical machines, operating modes and control of power electronic converters, feedback control of continuous process.
