Degrees incorporating this pedagocial element :

This module aims to provide students with solid training in the geochemistry of trace elements and in geochronology. The timescales covered extend from the time of planetary formation to those of very recent processes such as the last ice age. Trace elements are used to understand the processes of differentiation of Planet Earth: magma formation, formation of the continental crust, fractionation by sedimentary processes.
