Degrees incorporating this pedagocial element :

This course is divided in two parts covering selected aspects of polymers designed for use with living tissues and/or biological fluids, and of natural polymers.  The first part discusses recent advances in polymer chemistry focusing on stimuli-responsive materials for biomedical applications. The second part provides large details about the extraction, intrinsic properties and use of biopolymers for practical applications.  Topics in green chemistry, including basic life cycle analysis are included.
