Description

How to look and analyze data? Which model to use to explain those data? The course introduces fundamental analysis methods, to deal in particular with data constituted of temporal and/or spatial series. Specific    processing techniques are presented for the analysis and interpretation o the data: Fourier analysis, convolution, correlation, linear regression, polynomial fit etc. The lecture is entirely taught in informatics rooms, alternating between theoretical aspects and practical tical exercices, with a particular focus on the use of Matlab or Octave.
