Methodology and pedagogy of FLE



This course aims to present and discuss notions central in language teaching to then retrace the history of methodologies in French as a foreign language (by highlighting the communicative approach and the action-based perspective).

How can you develop the four abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the learner? How do you teach grammar and vocabulary? How do you motivate the class? How do you create educational sheets? These are all questions which will be dealt with via critical analysis of FLE manuals and didactic activities
